Join thousands of revelers for the Mardi Gras Parade and watch them march, dance and roll their way around downtown Norman. Don't forget to raise your glass to toast the King and Queen of Mardi Gras. This family-friendly parade will begin at dark.
You never know what you'll see. From decorated riding lawnmowers to vintage cars, from clowns to fire dancers, Elvis impersonators to costumed dogs, everyone's invited to march in this wild parade. Join the fun in Norman, the "City of Festivals," to chase your winter blues away.
This celebration of local arts and community began in 1994 and was the first Mardi Gras parade ever held in Oklahoma. One of the largest and most colorful parades in the Oklahoma City metro area, the parade will start at the Depot, travel east along Main Street to Crawford Avenue, where it will head south to Comanche Street and west back to Jones Avenue. The parade will complete the route twice.
